Every rule below is deterministic and public. Nothing about the outcome depends on us after the draw closes.

Free to play

fuckmoney.lol is free to play. Players never pay to enter and can never buy credits. Every eligible account claims one grant per UTC day, sized by the published follower ladder: the smallest accounts earn the floor, the largest earn the ceiling. Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed.

Chance

Every 1 credit of an entry equals exactly 1 unit of raffle weight.

The prize

Half of everything sponsors pay in a calendar month becomes that month's prize pool. Each day's prize is whatever is left of the pool divided by the days left in the month, so a sponsor who signs up mid-month lifts every remaining day and the pool always pays out in full. Sponsors buy ad slots and never influence the draw. It is never funded by players.

Cutoff

The raffle closes at 00:00:00 UTC. Entries are recorded the instant they are made; anything after the cutoff belongs to the next raffle.

Snapshot

At lock, eligible participants are sorted by immutable X user id (ascending, byte-wise) and assigned consecutive integer ranges [cumulative_start, cumulative_end] sized by their weight. The canonical JSON of [{x_user_id, weight}] is hashed with SHA-256.

Randomness

Randomness comes from the drand League of Entropy quicknet beacon. The round used is fixed and published before the raffle closes. The beacon's BLS signature is verified against the chain public key before use.

Winner

seed = SHA-256('outluckme-raffle-v1|' + raffle_id + '|' + snapshot_hash + '|' + randomness). A uniform integer in [0, total_weight - 1] is derived from the seed with rejection sampling (no modulo bias). The participant whose range contains that integer wins.

Payout

The winner says where to send it — PayPal, Wise or a bank transfer — and the payout is reviewed for multi-accounting before any money moves. Multi-accounting forfeits the prize.

The pot

The winner takes the whole pot — every credit entered into that draw — on top of the cash prize. Pot winnings never expire, and are what the rich list ranks on. Entries always spend the expiring daily allowance first, so winnings are only ever staked deliberately.

Credits expire daily

Daily credits are a day pass, not a balance. Whatever is not entered into the draw before 00:00 UTC expires and does not carry over, so nobody can bank weeks of grants for one enormous entry. Winnings are the exception: they are permanent.

Gifting credits

Credits may be gifted between established accounts within published daily limits. Selling, buying or trading credits for anything of value is prohibited and forfeits the account and any prize.
